On May 7 – 8, 2025, the specialized workshop titled “AMETEK Solutions for Research and Development” was successfully held at the University of Science – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU Hanoi) and Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST). The event attracted great interest and participation from scientists, lecturers, students, and researchers in the fields of engineering and technology.
The workshop aimed to introduce advanced technologies developed by AMETEK, serving research and applications in the fields of engineering, materials, and electronics. A representative from Vision Research Inc., Mr. Derek Ker – Technical Sales Manager, SE Asia – showcased cutting-edge technologies designed to drive new insights into material deformation, impact analysis, and non-destructive testing with high-speed imaging. This is a powerful solution that enables detailed analysis and evaluation of phenomena occurring in extremely short time frames.
In addition, Mr. Joseph Wu (Regional Sales Director Asia Pacific) and Mr. Wilfred Phua (Technical Service Manager) from PowerVar introduced electrical noise filtering devices, notably the Power Conditioner – an effective solution for removing harmful noises while ensuring a stable power supply for sensitive electronic instruments.
Besides the in-depth presentations, the program also included active discussions between university representatives and speakers, opening up numerous opportunities for future research collaboration. The workshop not only served as a platform for knowledge sharing but also contributed to strengthening the connection between academia and industry in the journey toward sustainable scientific and technological development.
